If it could ever get there. The enemy might also have MANPADs. 😉

With that said, I am not sure if we should make walkers that are armed and dangerous.

Maybe AAA and SAM systems, but that code should be I only put privately distributed with trusted, longtime OPRF members only. Giving it to somebody who may abuse it would be devastating to the groups PR and get us kicked from public multiplayer servers.

MONDAY NIGHT FIGHT
WEEK 2

THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS

pro-tip: download the scenery before Monday

The Caucasus Mountains border Georgia and Azerbaijan to the south, and the sweet Motherland of Russia to the north. Separating two continents, the highest peak is Mount Erebus, at over 18,000' MSL. The mountain range consists of multiple smaller ranges also, and is almost 300nm long.

Yeah.

I do not have the hardware to play DCS properly, so I mostly set up AI-only detailed scenarios and watch them play out. This is often quite entertaining.

Such a good looking plane... we really need a working MiG.

Also, very nice screenshots.

Yeah, I added a proper bubble canopy to the MiG-21-93 Livery - If I had an Indian MiG-21 Bison livery it would use the bubble as well as the Bison is pretty much a '93 model

Realistically it should have a different panel as well - the 93 has updated avionics & radar, plus chaff & flare launchers above the wing roots & an RWR on the top of the vstab

I have the next location selected, just need to do images + map.

But, just wondering, do you guys want a little more structure than "go here and fight"? Like recommended bases and missions or something?

I'd say yes, so we can also do some sort of Team events between one base and another.

Although Leto and I got our tails whooped, I really liked the "seek and destroy" mission we did last night. I like trying to find an opponent who knows where I am in advance. It is good for asymmetrical teams.

THE KAMCHATKA PENINSULA

pro-tip: download the scenery before Monday

The Kamchatka Peninsula in Eastern Russia is a volcanic stretch of land nearly 800 miles long. Seperating the Sea of Okhotsk from the Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea, this sparsely populated theatre features expansive plains and towering volcanic peaks. Fly amongst the Sredinny and Vostochny Mountains, dodging volcanoes and diving into several huge calderas.

Very good choice of location. In the past, I have used the Kamchatka Peninsula for bombing practice and such things.

Awesome pinto.

Should one week also perhaps not be a repeat of week 1, we never got to fly in Africa.

Why can't we do a small event?
