Just a heads up, Thorsten has made night vision for ALS in 2016.2.0

Hope it will work better than Rembrandt night vision.

This could come in quite handy for us..

He's messing with gamma and brightness settings, so it should be way better I hope.

From the pictures on the forum, this looks to be a tremendous improvement. I can't even use the old one, so I just fly dark. Makes diving pretty much a non-option if I don't know the exact ground elevation.

I tried it - it wasn't as great as I was hoping, but it's okay. It doesn't work on all landclass textures, or on airports. And it's difficult to get the settings just right. You also need moonlight, or you won't see anything at all.

I hate to say it, but the Rembrandt night vision is better. =\

Are we any closer to implementing an IRST, IR stealth, or very realistic missile seekers? I know that all these require things other than what is being talked about here, but they are relevant enough. How about Pave Tack or similar thermal cameras?

Nice to see thermal vision now supported. Work's out nicely for all of us I hope. Would be nice to see this developed far enough that we can use it to finally implement fully functional targeting pods as well as realistic IR seeker heads.
